We took some fun spring pictures at Oaklawn Garden… they really capture the spirit of the girls, and they had a lot of fun!

March was a fun month with a trip to Florida and the rest of the month trying to get back to normal!  Charlotte is 17 months old now, and quite a lot of fun.  She likes to chatter, though little is understandable yet.  I think her favorite word is still daddy, though her list also includes Mommy, Leesie (zee-see), baby, bubbles, and more.  She has very definite opinions (still!) and loudly expresses her dissatisfaction when things don’t go her way.  Thankfully, it is very short-lived, and she is generally very happy.  She already knows how to aggravate Elise by taking something of hers and running away, usually laughing!  She also loves to climb, especially onto the living room chair.  Charlotte is still very cuddly and loves (loves loves!!) her thumb.  Elise keeps a steady drop off/pick up going of her children all day long, whether it be to church, preschool or just “class.”  She loves to be the teacher or the mommy, is an excellent chef in her own kitchen and helping me more in the “big” kitchen, and is teaching Charlotte how to be an excellent homemaker already.

We had a fantastic week in Florida!  We all spent the first few days at the “lodge” (middle of the woods near Ocala).  Josh and I hadn’t been there in many years, and it was fun to introduce the girls to it.  It was just really good to be back again.  We enjoyed four-wheel rides, meat grilled over a wood fire, s’mores, and lots of play time outside.  After we sent Josh back home, the three girls stayed with Papa and Emma in Clearwater for a few more days.  I think the sandbox provided by Papa was their favorite.  It was a great time to enjoy family, see some friends and just relax!

And the Creason family grows again… baby #3 is on the way!  Due Sept. 1… here’s a sneak peek we got a few weeks ago.  Elise’s response to this news varies depending on the day.  Some days she tells me “I think we have enough children” while other days she’s very excited.  I’m sure it will continue this way til long after baby arrives!  Charlotte, on the otherhand, hasn’t a clue what’s coming!
